What is Cellulite?
The term "cellulite" refers to the dimpled appearance of the skin that occurs on hips, thighs, and buttocks. This appearance is much more common in women due to the differences in the way fat, muscle, and connective tissue are distributed in men and women's skin. The American Academy of Dermatology reports that at least 80 percent of women have cellulite. Currently more than 45 million women in the U.S. between the ages of 20 and 50 suffer from this condition and many seek treatment.

How does the TrActive Work?
The TriActive consists of three components: six diode lasers, a localized coiling system, and a rhythmic massage. The laser light stimulates microcirculation, cooling is for fluid retention, and massage is for lymphatic drainage. The laser renders most of the effect since poor circulation is attributed to cellulite formation. Together the system works synergistically to smooth and tighten cellulite.
Who is a candidate for laserdermology?
The TriAxtive is useful for many who are bothered by superficial cellulite that is untreatable by others methods, those who are not ready to undergo liposuction, or those who would like to improve benefits of liposuction. A specially designed handpiece is available for facial toning and tightening which many choose to tone, smooth, and enhance glow.
Where on the body can it be used?
TriActive can be used anywhere on the body, but some of the common areas include the midriff, thighs, buttocks, face, and neck.
How many treatment does it take?
Treatment results are best after 16 treatments, done twice weekly. This helps to build new collagen for a long term results. After the first series of treatments, maintenance treatments are suggested.
How long does the treatment take?
Normally the treatment takes about 45 minutes.
Is it painful?
No. Because of the massage component, most call it relaxing and therapeutic.
Is it safe?
Yes. The FDA does not include any warnings for it use and post-marketing surveillance does not note any adverse events.
What do I need to do post-treatment?
You may carry out regular activities post-treatment. Regular fluid intake and exercise is encouraged.
